haha well i just use drawings from other artists as references or inspiration so that i can see how toning works, figures form, etc. And I got my copics at my local art store like blick art material(you can order them online but they're expensive regardless)

and just like that you learn? hmm, i should be a tad bit more patient. an art store? i had only heard of ordering online, I also hear the expensive part before. are there different kinds? any you would recomend? (because you said COPIC sketch so i was wondering if there are different ones.) sorry im dumping all these questions on you. just no one I know has them and when i ask an artist here, they never answer sooo yea Im apologize, sincerialy I do ^^;

no its fine, i'd be happy to help out a fellow artist willing to get better :). Yea thats pretty much how I get better, and once you're able to see the way others make their drawings(light source, color, forms,etc), you can apply that into your own style of drawing and get better at it. And to your other question, yes i buy from the art store because its cheaper(well not really, but i dont have to pay shipping and stuff). There are different kinds of copic markers:sketch, original, and ciao. I recommend sketch--mainly cause its the easiest, has best flow, and most manga artists use copic sketch. Any more questions? ^-^
